Power On
Good news! The power problem has been corrected. Last night , however, I went to a local hotel for the a/c and to get a night's rest. I have enjoyed the comments of good friends re my blog, just keep them coming. :)
I saw the final game of the World Series last night at the hotel and it progressed as advertised. In the old days, you could never be sure.
Now that NE has a world ch. this year, I am sure that they will be generous and allow the Colts to defeat the Pats. What is the line, anyway? I am guessing that NE is favored but by how much?
Attached are photos of African crafts that are for sale here ranging from $10 to $40. Enjoy.

Power Black-out
We have had a major power black-out here at the apt. The electr went off at 8 last night and after 14 hours of no air and darkness, we are still waiting for a correction. Needless to say, it is somewhat unpleasant. I am operating on battery at the moment. Will work on my litigation plan today. I can feel the heat of the day approaching.

Ode to the Boys of Emerald Lane
Girls at the La Palm Hotel
Coffins
The pic here is a set of coffins for those people who want a special identity in their next life with a symbol that is meaningful to them personally. These coffins are interesting to say the least. Also, I have a pic of coffin makers as this profession here is thriving. Weddings are not celebrated like funerals which last three days, and everyone, even the poorest bury their loved ones in expensive caskets. The pics will be attached in a few minutes. I had heard of these places from others and thought that it would make for an interesting side trip.
